Why is listening first important for Arabic speakers?
أذنك متعوّدة على أصوات العربية. الإنجليزية فيها أصوات غير موجودة في العربية تمامًا (مثل P و V). الاستماع المتكرر يدرّب أذنك على التمييز بين هذه الأصوات الجديدة.
Your ear is used to Arabic sounds. English has sounds that do not exist in Arabic at all (like P and V). Repeated listening trains your ear to distinguish these new sounds.

Your First Words — With Real Sentences
كل كلمة تأتي مع جمل. لا نريدك تحفظ كلمات منفصلة — نريدك تسمع كيف تُستخدم الكلمة في جملة حقيقية.
Every word comes with sentences. We do not want you to memorize isolated words — we want you to hear how the word is used in a real sentence.

The First Big Difference — English Needs "am"
في العربية تقول: "أنا سعيد" — بدون فعل. هذا طبيعي تمامًا في العربية. لكن في الإنجليزية، لا يمكنك أن تقول "I happy". يجب أن تقول "I amhappy". الإنجليزية دائمًا تحتاج هذا الفعل.
In Arabic you say: "أنا سعيد" — no verb needed. That is perfectly normal in Arabic. But in English, you cannot say "I happy". You must say "I amhappy". English always needs this verb.

I + am + happy (the verb 'am' is required in English)
هذا هو أكبر فرق بين العربية والإنجليزية. في العربية لا تحتاج فعل هنا. في الإنجليزية، كلمة 'am' إجبارية — بدونها الجملة خطأ.
This is the biggest difference between Arabic and English. Arabic doesn't need a verb here. In English, the word 'am' is mandatory — without it, the sentence is wrong.

نفس القاعدة دائمًا: 'I' ثمّ 'am' ثمّ الصفة. عقلك العربي سيريد حذف 'am' — لا تحذفها.
The same rule always: 'I' then 'am' then the adjective. Your Arabic brain will want to skip 'am' — don't skip it.

Why does this happen to you as an Arabic speaker?
عقلك يحذف 'am' لأن في العربية 'أنا سعيد' جملة كاملة بدون فعل. هذا ليس خطأً منك — هذا هو الفرق الأساسي بين اللغتين. كل الناطقين بالعربية يمرّون بهذا. مع التكرار، ستقول 'I am' تلقائيًا.
Your brain skips 'am' because in Arabic 'أنا سعيد' is a complete sentence with no verb. This is not your fault — this is the fundamental difference between the two languages. All Arabic speakers go through this. With repetition, you'll say 'I am' automatically.
لاحظت أن الإنجليزية تحتاج 'I am' بينما العربية تقول 'أنا سعيد' بدون فعل؟ هذا أكبر فرق بين اللغتين. عقلك سيحذف 'am' كثيرًا في البداية — وهذا طبيعي تمامًا.
Did you notice English needs 'I am' while Arabic says 'أنا سعيد' with no verb? This is the biggest difference between the two languages. Your brain will drop 'am' a lot at first — and that's completely normal.

English has sounds with no equivalent in Arabic. Do not worry — you do not need to master them today. Just know they exist so you can notice them.
P ≠ B — صوتان مختلفان
P ≠ B — Two different sounds
في العربية لا يوجد صوت P. كثير من العرب يقولون "Please" مثل "Blease". الفرق: عند نطق P، أغلق شفتيك تمامًا ثمّ افتحهما بنفخة هواء صغيرة.
Arabic has no P sound. Many Arabic speakers say "Blease" instead of "Please". The difference: for P, close your lips completely then open them with a small puff of air.

صوت V غير موجود في العربية. كثير من العرب يقولون "Fery" بدلًا من "Very". الفرق: عند V، ضع أسنانك العلوية على شفتك السفلية واجعل صوتًا.
The V sound does not exist in Arabic. Many Arabic speakers say "Fery" instead of "Very". The difference: for V, put your upper teeth on your lower lip and make a sound.
