Lumena Academy is built on a free-first philosophy. The overwhelming majority of the platform is free and requires no payment.

• All A1 and A2 audio English lessons are completely free.
• All grammar exercises, grammar mastery tracking, and grammar foundations content are free.
• All vocabulary tools and course content across Financial English, English for Work, English for Technology, English for Travel, and IELTS Foundation are free.
• Progress tracking, streak system, level completion, and achievement badges are all free.
• No payment is required to access any of the above features.
• Basic lesson access does not require account registration — though creating a free account unlocks full progress tracking.

All subscription payments are final. No refunds are issued. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

• Subscriptions are billed at £4.99/month.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• No refunds are issued for any reason, including partial months.

In addition to the premium subscription, the platform may in the future offer additional paid digital products to support your learning journey.

• Examples may include: downloadable PDF worksheets, printable study guides, advanced course packs, or officially branded completion certificates.
• The refund policy applicable to any digital product will be clearly stated on the product page at the point of purchase — before you are charged.
• General principle: digital products that have been downloaded, accessed, or generated on demand are non-refundable unless the product is defective or materially different from its description.
• If you receive a defective digital product, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will either replace it or issue a full refund.
