Lumena Academy is built on a free-first philosophy. The overwhelming majority of the platform is free and requires no payment.
- All A1 and A2 audio English lessons are completely free.
- All grammar exercises, grammar mastery tracking, and grammar foundations content are free.
- All vocabulary tools and course content across Financial English, English for Work, English for Technology, English for Travel, and IELTS Foundation are free.
- Progress tracking, streak system, level completion, and achievement badges are all free.
- No payment is required to access any of the above features.
- Basic lesson access does not require account registration — though creating a free account unlocks full progress tracking.

The Guarantee / الضمان
If you subscribe to a paid plan and cancel within the first 14 days of your first paid subscription, your refund is processed automatically via Stripe — no questions asked and no need to contact us.
- This guarantee applies to the first paid subscription only — it does not apply to subscription renewals.
- The free trial period does not count toward the 14-day guarantee window. The 14 days begins from the date of your first actual payment.
- No reason is required — simply cancel within 14 days of your first payment and the refund is issued automatically.
- Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
- ينطبق هذا الضمان على أول اشتراك مدفوع فقط — لا ينطبق على تجديدات الاشتراك.•
- لا تُحتسَب فترة التجربة المجانية ضمن نافذة ضمان ١٤ يوماً. تبدأ الـ ١٤ يوماً من تاريخ أول دفعة فعلية.•

Refund Eligibility
The following summarises which situations are and are not eligible for a refund:
Eligible for Refund / مؤهَّل للاسترداد
- Your first paid subscription, if you cancel within 14 days of the first payment date — refund is automatic.
- Annual subscriptions with a significant number of unused full months remaining — assessed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
- أول اشتراك مدفوع، إذا ألغيت خلال ١٤ يوماً من تاريخ أول دفعة — يتم الاسترداد تلقائياً.•
- الاشتراكات السنوية مع عدد كبير من الأشهر الكاملة غير المستخدمة المتبقية — تُقيَّم بشكل فردي وفق تقديرنا.•
Not Eligible for Refund / غير مؤهَّل للاسترداد
- Monthly subscriptions after the 14-day money-back guarantee window has passed.
- Subscription renewals — the guarantee covers only the initial subscription, not subsequent billing cycles.
- Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
- Free trial periods — no charge was made, therefore no refund is applicable.
- Partial months on monthly subscriptions — access to premium tools is revoked immediately upon cancellation.

Future Digital Products
In addition to the premium subscription, the platform may in the future offer additional paid digital products to support your learning journey.
- Examples may include: downloadable PDF worksheets, printable study guides, advanced course packs, or officially branded completion certificates.
- The refund policy applicable to any digital product will be clearly stated on the product page at the point of purchase — before you are charged.
- General principle: digital products that have been downloaded, accessed, or generated on demand are non-refundable unless the product is defective or materially different from its description.
- If you receive a defective digital product, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will either replace it or issue a full refund.

How Refunds Work
Subscription refunds within the 14-day guarantee window are fully automatic — no email or contact required.
