In English, we use 'a' before animal names that start with a consonant sound: a lion, a bear. We use 'an' before vowel sounds: an elephant, an octopus.
في الإنجليزية نستخدم a قبل أسماء الحيوانات التي تبدأ بصوت ساكن: a lion، a bear. ونستخدم an قبل أصوات العلّة: an elephant، an octopus.
