في العربية تقول 'أنا سعيد' بدون فعل. في الإنجليزية لازم تقول 'I am happy' — كلمة 'am' إجبارية.
In Arabic you say 'أنا سعيد' with no verb. In English you must say 'I am happy' — the word 'am' is mandatory.

Your Arabic brain will want to skip 'am'. Don't — English always needs it.

Why does this happen to you as an Arabic speaker?
في العربية تقول 'أنا سعيد' — جملة كاملة بدون فعل. عقلك العربي يحذف 'am' تلقائيًا لأن العربية لا تحتاجها. كل الناطقين بالعربية يمرّون بنفس المرحلة — مع التكرار ستتذكّر أن الإنجليزية تحتاج 'am' دائمًا.
In Arabic you say 'أنا سعيد' — a complete sentence with no verb. Your Arabic brain automatically skips 'am' because Arabic doesn't need it. All Arabic speakers go through this same stage — with repetition you'll remember that English always needs 'am'.

في العربية 'اسمي أحمد' جملة كاملة بدون فعل. في الإنجليزية لازم تقول 'My name is Ahmed' — بكلمة 'is'.
In Arabic 'اسمي أحمد' is complete without a verb. In English you must say 'My name is Ahmed' — with 'is'.

'am' مع 'I'، و 'is' مع الأسماء والأشياء. نفس الفكرة: الإنجليزية تحتاج فعلًا دائمًا.
'am' goes with 'I', 'is' goes with names and things. Same idea: English always needs a verb.

قلها ثلاث مرّات بصوت عالٍ. هذا هو تعريفك الأول بالإنجليزية.
Say it three times out loud. This is your first English self-introduction.
في العربية تقول 'أنا مدرّس' أو 'عمري ٢٥'. في الإنجليزية تحتاج دائمًا 'I am a teacher' و 'I am 25 years old'. لاحظ 'am' و 'a' — العربية تحذفهما لكن الإنجليزية تحتاجهما.
In Arabic you say 'I teacher' or 'age-my 25'. In English you always need 'I am a teacher' and 'I am 25 years old'. Notice 'am' and 'a' — Arabic drops them but English needs them.
إذا قلت 'I teacher' بدلًا من 'I am a teacher' — هذا يحدث لكل العرب. عقلك يترجم من العربية حرفيًا. كل مرة تلاحظ الخطأ، أنت تتعلّم.
If you said 'I teacher' instead of 'I am a teacher' — this happens to every Arabic speaker. Your brain translates literally from Arabic. Every time you notice the mistake, you're learning.
تعلّمت ثلاثة أنماط: I am + صفة، My name is + اسم، I am from + مكان.
You learned three patterns: I am + adjective, My name is + name, I am from + place.
